Panda Bear

I am so excited about my new Adidas sneakers! they are so cut .

  

They were designed by Jeremy Scoot an American fashion designer born in Kansas City, Missouri. He attended the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York, for fashion design. Scott started his runway career in Paris and has since shown collections in Paris, New York, Los Angeles, London, Moscow and Seoul.

Scoot made sneaker history when he fused a teddy bear with a metro attitude hi. The panda bear continued the trend, looking to china for inspiration.

 Scott is known for humorous prints. He eponymous line is an example of lowbrow culture transformed into high art. Often more conceptual than wearable, the designs change drastically every season with the evolution of Scott’s whimsy.

Three As Four

Yesterday we were at a fab exhibition called inSALAAM in SHALLOM by ThreeASFOUR a libel formed by Adi Gil, Gabi Asfour and Angela Donaaoser.

We entered a world that explored the identity between the Arab and Jewish aesthetics.

 The collection previewed was first shown in New York Fashion Week , September  11 , for spring 2012.

The collection takes its Inspiration from familiar Jewish and Islam symbolical elements and weaves them into a new web that combines the two together.

In the first floor there was a screening of an exquisite video that brought the cloth and concept to life.

A soundtrack of pop music accompanied the exhibition and created a great dialogue between fashion and the history of oriental clothing.

Elements that inspired the libel are the star of David, Hamsa, Shofar (horn) and Kaffiyeh prints.

One of the highlights of the show was a collection of hats which had oriental and christen motifs. The hats were displayed with music  that enhanced its origin of inspiration . The hats also Incorporated  African motifs and showed an intrusting interpretation of eclecticism.

The hat scene is very hot now.

 Since the royal weeding in Apr 2011 we can see hats in street fashion world wide, 

it is no longer just a British dress code.

We like to mix our hats with ready to wear clothing, combining high and low aesthetics and creating a dual statement.

An accessible way of creating this cultural merge look is with this H&M hat.

"Beit Hair" is the home of this exhibition.

It was Tel Aviv's old city hall and was built in 1924.

One of its best feature is the roof ! 

The best ferry accessory of winter 2011- we like our fur live :).

Bling The Black

We were at an art exhibition "Inside Job". an amazing desplay of street art. 

Street art has become a global trend.The genre is growing all over the world and has become accepted and valued.

I had to show of my new white jacket , matching it of with my graphic hand bag - that I just got from h&m. 

One of arts that were displayed are called "Broken Fingaz".

The graffiti and street art created by Broken Firgaz is highly colorful and graphic and is inspired by graffiti works from the early 1980s. Their works are defined by bold black outlines and flat surfaces, their central motifs draw on consumer products, horror movies and popular culture. Their style has been influenced by american comics of the 1930s and 1940s, skate board graphics, tattos and psychedelic art.

Freddy and The Club

Last week we were at an amazing privet show for freddy's 2012 collection.
 that we would like to share with you....
Hers a little about the brand :

Carlo Freddi, a young entrepreneur who followed overseas trends very closely, set up a professional dance and gymnastics footwear manufacturing firm. He wanted to give it a dynamic name, which would be easy to remember.  By replacing the last letter in his surname with the letter “Y”, he came up with Freddy. The company stands out immediately thanks to its ability to meet the technical and comfort requirements of those who make movement an art, and thanks to its innovative offering of fashionable models from the USA, inspired by phenomena such as aerobics, rap and street style. Freddy has emerged due to its new approach to sport and movement, which are seen as not just being about sacrifice and sweat, but also as a symbol of a healthy and sociable lifestyle, involving more and more women, and due to its innovative sportswear concept.
